Journal of Advanced Movement History and Culture Studies is an international peer-reviewed journal established in 2025 to provide qualified and original contributions to the literature of Social Sciences and Humanities. Deriving its name and intellectual foundations from the spiritual legacy of the "Advanced" and "Movement" journals published by Nurettin Topçu, one of the most significant figures in Turkish intellectual life, our journal aims to carry this deep-rooted tradition to the present day through an academic discipline.
Ethical Principles and Peer Review Process
Our journal employs a double-blind peer review system. All submitted manuscripts are first subjected to a preliminary editorial review. Following the checks by the relevant field editor, they are evaluated for scientific validity and originality by at least two independent reviewers who are experts in their fields. Full compliance with ethical principles is ensured throughout the publication process, based on the COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) standards.
Citation System
To ensure integrity in academic writing, the ISNAD Citation Style (2nd Edition) has been adopted for citations and bibliography formatting. For the evaluation process to commence, it is mandatory that submitted manuscripts be prepared in full compliance with the journal's writing guidelines.
Publication Frequency and Scope
Journal of Advanced Movement History and Culture Studies is published biannually (in June and December) as an electronic journal (e-journal). To ensure the smooth execution of publication and peer review processes, manuscripts must be uploaded to the journal management system at least 60 days prior to the targeted issue date.
