Author Guide and Writing Rules

Dear Researcher, Ileri Hareket Journal of History and Culture Studies aims to evaluate knowledge produced in the fields of social sciences and humanities according to universal standards and introduce it to the literature. Before uploading your work to our system, it is important that you review this guide, which summarizes our publication policy and basic expectations.

1. Our Publication Focus Our journal prioritizes original research that proposes a new methodology, offers a critical perspective, discusses, and analyzes, rather than studies that merely repeat existing literature or make simple descriptive assessments. Studies that strengthen interdisciplinary interaction, particularly in history, sociology, literature, philosophy, and art history, are our main area of interest.

2. Accepted Manuscript Types

  • Research Article: Scientific studies based on original data and analysis.

3. Basic Expectations

  • Scientific Competence: There must be a consistent unity between the research problem, aim, method, and findings of the study.

  • Original Value: The study must fill a gap in the relevant field or bring a new dimension to an existing discussion.

  • Ethical Compliance: Full compliance with scientific research and publication ethics rules is mandatory.

4. Evaluation Process: Our journal operates on the principle of "Double-Blind Peer Review." Manuscripts passing the preliminary editorial review are anonymized (stripped of author identity) and sent to at least two experts in the field.
