Open Access and Copyright Policy


The following text has been prepared in accordance with Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI) and Creative Commons (CC) standards.

1. Open Access Policy

Our journal follows a publication policy that is fully compliant with the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI) and Creative Commons (CC) principles.

  • Free Access: All articles published in our journal are offered to readers free of charge and without restriction immediately upon publication. Readers do not need to subscribe or pay a fee to access the content.

  • User Rights: In accordance with the definition of "Open Access," users have the right to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, crawl them for indexing, pass them as data to software, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without financial, legal, or technical barriers other than those inseparable from gaining access to the internet itself.

2. Licensing Policy

All works published in Journal of Advanced Movement History and Culture Studies are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0) license.

Under this license, third parties have the right to:

  • Share: Copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format.

  • Adapt: Remix, transform, and build upon the material.

However, these rights are subject to the following conditions:

  1. Attribution: Appropriate credit must be given to the author and the original source (the journal), a link to the license must be provided, and changes must be indicated if any were made.

  2. Non-Commercial: The material may not be used for commercial purposes (e.g., selling it or using it in a commercial book without permission).

3. Copyright Regulation

Authors submitting manuscripts to our journal declare that the copyright belongs to them and that the work is original. At the end of the publication process:

  • Copyright Transfer: Upon acceptance of the manuscript for publication, authors transfer the right of first publication and commercial use rights to Journal of Advanced Movement History and Culture Studies.

  • Rights Retained by the Author: The transfer of copyright does not infringe upon the following rights of the authors. Authors retain the right to:

    1. Share the article on their personal websites, blogs, or institutional open archives (university repositories, etc.).

    2. Use the article or reproduce it for teaching purposes/course materials.

    3. Use the article in future books or compilations they write (for non-commercial purposes).

    4. Retain intellectual property rights such as patent rights.

4. Archiving Policy

Our journal implements digital archiving policies to ensure the long-term preservation and accessibility of published content.

5. Fee Policy (No Fee Policy)

Journal of Advanced Movement History and Culture Studies is a non-profit academic platform.

  • Submission Fee: No fee is requested from authors during article submission.

  • Article Processing Charge (APC): No fee is charged for the evaluation, editing, or publication processes of the article.

  • Royalty Payment: The journal does not pay royalties to authors for published articles. Publishing activities are based on volunteerism and academic contribution.
